Executive Director, Coach 16s Team
Angelica Salinas is Whiteout Volleyball Club’s Coaching Director. She grew up in Texas where the played volleyball in school and club volleyball. She went to college at Santa Clara University where was a Coxswain for the Men’s Rowing team. She has a background in education and recreation and has over 8 years in coaching experience. This year, in addition to leading the club, Angelica will also coach the 16s Purple team. She is looking forward to working with all of the coaches and growing Whiteout for future seasons.
Coach 15s Team
Clint Koehler grew up playing volleyball in north Chicago, IL. He also played for Adversity Volleyball Club where he was a starting setter. He moved to Steamboat 15 years ago and coached for Steamboat Springs High School both at the JV and Freshman level. He has coached snowboarding for the Winter Sports Club and is in his 15th year teaching mathematics at SSHS. He loves sharing his knowledge and passion for volleyball with athletes of all ages and is excited for another wonderful club season!
Coach 14s Purple Team
Colleen O’Gorman grew up in Chicago playing volleyball, softball, tennis and track. She has a background playing club volleyball and started coaching for Whiteout after moving here in 2010. Colleen has coached every age group for Whiteout. Her background is in youth and adult sports and she hopes to bring her skills and enjoyment for volleyball to the Whiteout girls!
Coach 14s Silver Team
Blair is originally from Houston, Texas where she played school and club volleyball through high school. She started coaching club volleyball in college and then continued coaching in Houston. She moved to Steamboat to be a ski instructor and now works remotely for a tech company. She has coached the middle school volleyball team the last two years and is excited about joining the Whiteout staff this year!
Coach 13s Team
Coach Lu moved to Steamboat last year and coached out 16s team. This year, she will take over our younger athletes. She is looking forward to teaching fundamentals that are a mixture of European, Japanese, and American techniques, as she played volleyball internationally and in college. Besides her love for coaching, she works for One Steamboat Place and organizes various adult volleyball tournaments include the new “snow volleyball” competition!
Colleen was born and raised in Steamboat, playing under Wendy Hall throughout high school. She went on to play at the University of Denver from 2010-2014 and went on to play professionally for SK UP Olomouc in the Czech Republic for the 2014-2015 season. She returned to playing and coaching at the University of Essex in Colchester, UK while pursuing her an MA in Human Rights 2017/2018. Colleen has coached with Whiteout off and on between adventures since 2016 and has a deep love for the Steamboat volleyball community. This season she will be working with all our teams this season.
Kaitlyn Rudolph is a Steamboat native who joined the Whiteout staff last season as a 15s coach. She played volleyball throughout school and then played club volleyball in college. She is looking forward to working with dedicated girls from all age levels.
